Our Thermo Bond Team has become quite the travelers during this years trade show season. We’ve been on the move since mid-March when we visited the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE) in Las Vegas, Nevada. We joined over 7,500 attendees for the annual communications technology event. The IWCE helped us provide the foundation of telecommunications equipment and shelter expertise to Las Vegas. Booth #2422 was packed with spectators who wanted a peek at the inside of our traveling shelter.
We decided that what happens in Vegas shouldn’t necessarily stay in Vegas. Instead, we moved along to the next trade show, the Minnesota Telecom Alliance in Minneapolis, MN. We met so many great people in Minneapolis that wanted to know capabilities of our shelters. Networking with industry professionals and leaders has been a great experience.
In the first half of April, we traveled back to Las Vegas for the National Association of Broadcasters Convention. The NAB Show featured over 90,000 media and entertainment professionals from all over the world, and features more than 1,500 companies. There were 500+ skill-building sessions and members of the press around every corner. The NAB plays a large role in the world of radio and television.
With more advanced technology and new expectations from consumers, the broadcasting, communications, and telecom industries are experiencing an important evolution. Consumers now have access to multiple platforms and personal media devices, increasing the competition in the video market. This competition changes the way content is created, managed, and distributed. Thermo Bond is proud and excited to be apart of this ever-changing world of technology. We’ve continued along our trade show journey joining a record crowd at the Competitive Carrier Global Expo (CCA) in New Orleans, LA, helped deliver the future of telecom at The Utilities Telecom Council (UTC) in Houston, TX, and experienced the 79th Annual Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) in Anaheim, CA.
