Housing the Network

Thermo Bond’s fiber huts are built strong enough to securely house your network. We offer lightweight buildings with aggregate siding or pre-cast concrete buildings. Every building we manufacture is designed, engineered and delivered to meet your site requirements and aesthetics; and includes a reliable integrated electrical system, cable entry, ladders, HVAC, lighting, fiber guide, specified alarms and backup components. Multi Tenant and Co-location options are offered in both lightweight and concrete construction. Our industrial buildings are bullet, fire and vandal-resistant, durable and strong, making them perfect for remote locations or applications that require a secure facility.

Whether your fiber hut requires customer-installed equipment, or simple electrical requirements, Thermo Bond has the solution. Our experienced technicians have the ability to fully integrate your specialized equipment, lowering your overall site costs. In addition to meeting all applicable National Electrical Code (NEC) standards, our technical specialists ensure each structure adheres to specific industry, Federal and state regulations. Integrated and installed to your specifications, we will also factory test the equipment for quality and reliability so you will be up and running as soon as your fiber hut is delivered.

Lightweight Aggregate Buildings

Typically range in size from 6′ x 6′ to 24′ x 40′
Constructed to customer’s specifications
Standard 3′ x 7′ steel door
Includes lights, outlets, HVAC, generators, transfer panels, ventilation systems, cable ladder, grounding systems and any special equipment required
Minimum floor loading of 200 pounds per square foot
Minimum roof loading of 100 pounds per square foot
Minimum roof impact resistance of 220 foot-pounds
Minimum wall wind loading of 120 MPH
Skid assembly consisting of 6″ x 9lb. beams welded into place with 2″ x 2″ x 1/4″ angles placed between the beams every 4′ O.C.
Industrial grade adhesive sealer applied wherever two pieces of metal are joined or fastened for no measurable air infiltration of wall, floor or roof
Shipped fully assembled

Pre-Cast Concrete Buildings

Typically range in size from 6′ x 6′ to 24′ x 40′
Constructed to customer’s specifications
Separate generator room can be included
5000 PSI lightweight solid concrete with billet steel reinforcing bars
Meets ASTM A-615 grade 60 specifications and ACI-318 building code
Concrete floor
Standard 3′ x 7′ steel door and exterior aggregate finish
Fully integrated with electrical, networking and backup power
Includes electrical system, cable entry, ladders, HVAC, lighting, specified alarms and backup components
Capable of resisting hurricane-force winds of a minimum of 150 MPH
Bullet resistant up to and including 30-06 caliber rifle fired at point blank range – UL-752 level 4
Resists all boring insects along with mold and mildew
Floor loading of 200 PSF reinforced concrete with step joint design
Roof loading of 150 PSF reinforced concrete with1/4″ per foot roof slope to eaves
Wind loading up to 200 MPH steel reinforced concrete walls
